AGNES HIGGS WEBSTER

Mrs. Agnes Higgs Webster was born 1 March 1850 at Chelton, England. She emigrated and crossed the plains with her parents in 1857. She later met and married Levi Webster. The wedding was solemnized in the Salt Lake Endowment House, Salt Lake City. She was very industrious and full of life at all times. She was a very good housekeeper and a faithful wife and mother of 11 children.

She saw many hard and trying times while raising her family on the pioneer homestead. Having a great testimony of the truths of the gospel, she was set apart to care for the sick and to prepare the dead for burial.

After a lingering illness during which she still saw to her duties for burials, she passed away at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon 31 December 1893.
